Inspirational Bloggers Creating a Positive Space Online

Oh hey! It’s been a week and a half since my last blog post (all about taking a year out of uni if you fancy a read). Final year has been full on from the start, so figuring out a blogging schedule is a work in progress. My anxiety surrounding my Crohn’s also took a hit, but I’m putting things in place to manage my mental health. With all this happening, a case of writer’s block struck. However, while out shopping in Leeds, I had a chance encounter with Arooj from Vogue Wonders, who is one of my all-time favourite bloggers and is someone who has inspired me personally. This got me thinking. Whenever I feel a bit low, blogging always helps me as the community is full of inspiring people. Here are few inspirational bloggers who have a positive impact on me and make the internet a better place (in no particular order).

In reality, the list could go on and on as there are so many amazing bloggers I look up to, but we’d be for days if I gave you the full list!

Vogue Wonders

Arooj from @vogue_wonders has helped raise awareness for neurofibromatosis. Her fantastic BBC Newsbeat documentary is a must-watch and gives a genuine insight into life with NF1.

Katie May

Katie May’s content on life with chronic illness is a great source of help whenever I’m struggling with IBD issues. She is showing that you can still live an awesome life! Katie has also just started her ‘Postcards From’ venture and 50% of profits go to the InvisiYouth charity.

Jenna Farmer

Jenna is another blogger leading the way and raising awareness for IBD life. Her blog ‘A Balanced Belly’ covers everything from Crohn’s medication to food intolerances. Jenna is my go-to person whenever I have a Crohn’s question!

Vix Meldrew

Ok, I’ve mentioned Vix so many times now, so you know that I think she’s awesome. She’s the creator behind Grow & Glow, one of the best things EVER in blogging. 

Aside from being a master on all-things blogging, her blog content is so relatable and funny. Plus, she’s the queen of Instagram captions, so go and follow her!

MSB Life

I absolutely love Millie and her whole blog and social media presence. She’s full of positivity and is great for when you need that extra dose of motivation. She recently did the Great North Run raising money for an animal welfare charity too. Go Millie!

The Im Life

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Im a couple of times now and she’s such a lovely person. Her lifestyle blog content is brilliant and down-to-earth. She’s become a genuine blogging friend!

Jade Marie

I love Jade’s honest content and her insightful posts raising awareness about life with autism. She has recently launched her new graphic design business too!

Need some sustainability advice?

Let’s cut to the chase when it comes to the environment. We all need to be doing everything possible to help our planet.

If you are struggling with where to begin, there are 3 inspirational bloggers who I always turn to when I need sustainability advice. Bethany Paige Austin, Nati Macchiato and Elen from Welsh Wanderer produce content on all things eco and ethical. I love how honest they are and accept that sometimes, it’s not possible for us to become complete masters of sustainability in one night. They do, however, show what can be done to help the world in a realistic way.
