My Must-Have Bullet Journal Supplies
Since starting my bullet journal (a year ago, crazy) Iโve tried various pens and stationery bits and bobs. A year on, I feel like I have my favourite bullet journal supplies that are my go-to products. If you have a journal or are thinking about bullet journaling, here are my recommendations.

Bullet Journal
First things first, a bullet journal is essential. Iโm currently using the Leuchtturm1917 journal, which I think is great for beginners. Before I bought mine, I also practised in an old notebook, so thatโs worth doing to see if journaling is for you. I reckon I have about 3 months worth of space left in my current journal, and after that, I want to try the Scribbles That Matter Pro journal as Iโve seen the reviews on YouTube and it looks great. AmandaRachLee (my favourite bullet journal YouTuber) has used Scribbles That Matter before, so Iโm taking that as a good sign.
Tombow Fudenosuke Soft Tip Pen
My favourite pen at the moment for all things brush lettering. If youโre someone who prefers smaller calligraphy, this is an easy pen to use. I want to try the hard tip pen too, but Iโve heard that the soft tip is better for beginners.
Tombow ABT N15 Dual Tip Brush Pen
A popular one in the bullet journal community. This pen is great for larger hand lettering. I really like the felt tip fineliner end too. I have my eye on the pastel versions as they look amazing!
Edding 1800 Profipen 0.1
Fineliner goals! Iโve tried a few fineliners and this one is the best so far. Itโs great for writing, drawing, outlines, you name it. It is on the pricier side, but Iโve had mine for a long time and it still works. If you want a budget-friendly one though, you canโt go wrong with a Stabilo fineliner.
Crayola SuperTips
Some of the best felt tips pens out there. So versatile and so many colours available. They can be used for brush lettering too.
Stabilo Boss Pastel Highlighters
Pastel highlighters. Need I say more?!

I’ve got a Leuchtturm at the moment but I would also like my next journal to come from scribbles that matter. I get frustrated with ink bleeding and ghosting. Do you have that problem?
Occasionally if it’s a thick pen like a Sharpie. The main reason why I want to try Scribbles that Matter. Still love Leuchtturm for most things though. X
A bullet journal is always a great idea. It’s great to take five minutes to yourself. x

Completely agree!! Iโm in a Scribbles That Matter and I find it so much better than the Leuchtturm. I really need to try and find a pen that I can use for lettering!

I thought bullet journalling would so easy to get started with the amount of stationary I had until I realised mine didn’t look like anyone elses. Wanted the pastel highlighters for a while but I definitely want to try out the Edding fineliner!

Ugh I’m getting serious stationary envy right now! I’m a bit of a stationary hoarder and still have loads of old brush pens left from when I did GCSE art haha. Love seeing what other people love using! xx

I have always wanted to do a bullet journal. I do have an empty journal that I can use to attempt to do a bullet journal. They always look so much fun and so pretty too! Those pens all looks and sound really nice. I have a slight stationery addiction!

I love bullet journals! ?. I have those Tombow pens they are great arenโt they. I use the Leuchtturm bullet journals too?. I love them they have such great paper quality. Thank you for sharing your essentials. I look forward to reading more bullet journal content xx

I’ve thought about starting a bullet journal – I usually use a Happiness Planner, which I love but I LOVE the look of bullet journals too. ?
