November 2019 Bullet Journal Setup
Weโre back with a bullet journal setup! It feels like itโs been ages since my last setup in September, so Iโve been looking forward to another design. Given the colder weather, I decided to create my November 2019 bullet journal setup around one of the best cold weather remedies…TEA! I drink so much tea at university and Iโve started to branch out from the classic English breakfast to include more herbal teas. Green tea, peppermint and lemon and ginger now all on the list. With that in mind, itโs time to represent tea in the bullet journal.
Theme
Iโve kept the overall design fairly minimal and monochrome. The main accent colour is a dark red tone, perfect for Autumn as well.
I found drawing the teacups to be quite a challenge, so I have kept the pattern simple with some polka dots.
The teacups alternate with tea bags throughout Novemberโs layout, to get a full blown tea-themed spread.

With Pinterest being my main source of inspiration for my journal quotes, I headed there to find tea-related quotes. This monthโs quote appeared straight away in my search and it was the perfect one.
โLife is like a cup of tea. Itโs all in how you make it.โ
With the past few months being crazy and trying to balance university, Crohnโs appointments, blogging and just generally living, the quote is a real reminder to maintain a positive mindset and no matter what happens, itโs your outlook on things that really make a difference.
Changing the Function of my Bullet Journal
With university in full swing, I am no longer using my bullet journal for general day-to-day organisation. I keep a separate academic diary, my 2019-20 Sassy Planner, for all my to-do lists and daily events.ย
Whatโs more, my bullet journal is a form of relaxation and art therapy, so I like to take time over planning and creating designs. When Iโm at university, I prefer a ready made planner, so I can quickly write down notes and anything that needs to be added to my calendar.
As a result, my bullet journal is now home to all things blogging.ย
This month, I have included checklists, blog post ideas as well as a tracker for my blog views (inspired by Bournemouth Girl).ย

I’m a bit late with creating my November bullet journal this month & have found that although I planned to use it for daily planning at university, I tend to need more of an ‘instant’ planner for deadlines, reminders etc. I’ll definitely be making it more blog based & love the ideas that you’ve shown. Can’t believe it’s the last two months of the year!!
