March 2019 Bullet Journal Setup
Ok, where did February go? It’s been a good month, what with seeing family, visiting the Lake District (post coming next week) and a couple of blogger events early on. Nevertheless, it’s time to get organised for March now. I’ve got some more meetups next week and I’m coming up with ideas for B.L.O.G. Unwritten. Theme
For my March 2019 bullet journal setup, I couldn’t resist it. I had to include my beloved pale pink and rose gold.
On recent shopping trips, I’ve seen so many beautiful rose gold home accessories such as wire storage boxes and memo boards, that the geometric pattern had to be included. It’s also a very simple design for non-artists like me.
A reason for choosing triangles is because my Pinterest feed keeps providing minimalist bullet journal designs, a common trend being modern calligraphy written across triangles. I think this looks sophisticated but is easy to create. What’s more, you can then use the triangles for the dates in the weekly spreads.
Equipment
I realised that I don’t talk about the equipment I use for my bullet journal setups, so thought I’d do a run down this month. As I’ve mentioned before, my journal is a Leuchtturm1917 in emerald.
The pens I used for the design are as follows:
- Edding 1800 profipen 0.1 – This fineliner is perfect for doing any small writing such as calendar numbers or notes.
- Tombow Fudenosuke Soft Brush Pen – I use this for handlettering and highlighting any titles such as the week headers.
- Crayola SuperTip – I can’t find specific colour names but it’s the peach/pink colour.
