June 2019 Bullet Journal Setup | Plan with Me
Who’s ready for June? For once, I actually feel like May didn’t fly past and that I used the time appropriately. Let’s hope that’s the case for the upcoming month too. Here’s my June 2019 bullet journal setup.
June 2019 Bullet Journal Setup
As June is typically thought of the start of summer, I wanted to have a sun theme. You know me and my minimalism though, I decided to make it more abstract and choose warm orange, red and yellow colours to represent the sunshine. Plus, me trying to draw suns, bees, sunflowers and anything else associated with this category could have been disastrous.

Title Page
I will admit that this setup was a bit rushed, so that is one of the reasons why the cover page is VERY minimal. Nevertheless, I used this floral washi tape and the colours turned out to be ideal. It’s funny how things turn out!
I got the washi tape as a present last year, so I’m not sure where it’s from, but I used the Crayola Super Tip in what I believe is the sun yellow shade (even more perfect).

Calendar
I’ve switched from my usual small calendar to a large month overview where I can look ahead to the whole month and know what’s going on, see my blog post schedule etc.
I’m trying to use my bullet journal more in June as one of the reasons I haven’t been using it much was because I hasn’t included an overview like this. It’s nice to open the page and see the entire month mapped out.
In handlettering news, I’m getting better at freehand calligraphy! The ‘June’ here was done with my Tombow Soft Tip Fudenosuke pen and I swear by it. It’s not perfect, but I’m getting there with practice.

Quote + Notes Page
“If you can’t find the sunshine, be the sunshine”
Given the sunshine theme, this month’s motivational quote is about sunshine. I’m not sure who said it as I found the quote on Pinterest. It fits nicely. I’ve had a few wobbles with my mental health recently relating to my Crohn’s, so the quote is a reminder to stay positive.
Annoyingly June has 4 full weeks with a weekend at the start. Therefore, I’ve moved my notes section to earlier in the spread and added the first weekend underneath.
I wanted to experiment with font types, so I switched up the notes title. I’ve seen this style font everywhere, usually with pastel pink (I can’t remember what it’s called), but thought I’d try it in yellow. Let me know what you think. My trusty Edding 0.1mm Profipen helps with fineliner element.

Weekly Spreads
The weekly spreads are the same as previous months, with a page per week. I find I don’t need much space as my writing is quite small, and I now have the calendar space too.

Blog Post Ideas + Goals
Again, sticking to my blog post and goals layout like other months. This time though, I’ve included more general goals in addition to blog ones, as I have university and health stuff to sort out.

That’s the end of the setup. I may add pages as we go through the month, but I’ll post them on my Instagram stories highlight if I do. If you want to have a go at designing a bullet journal spread like mine, then why not pin the post for later?

What did you think of June’s design? How is your June 2019 bullet journal setup going?

I have had ulcerative colitis since 1975 I know Crohnโs is way more painful but since 1989 my bowel ceased any form of normal behaviour. I am at the other end of life and struggle having had a major depressive illness and diabetes for the last twenty years. You brave young folk have inspired me greatly and I even started blogging again about three weeks ago

Thank you so much! I’d recommend starting one, they don’t need to be really artistic or anything. You can design it to suit you X
Wow, your bullet journal is so neat and pretty! Your June pages are gorgeous, I’m loving the bright and vibrant yellow, it’s so fun and summery! The quote is really motivational and written beautifully. I know these pages would keep me feeling positive and inspired. All the best with your goals this month, thanks for sharing. Have a great month Megan! <3 xx
