May 2019 Bullet Journal Setup | Plan with Me
Before we get started on the May 2019 bullet journal setup, I’m not even going to mention time flying like I do in every bullet journal post – oh no, I guess that counts doesn’t it?! Nevermind, hopefully some of you can share my shock of another month passing us by all too quickly.
May 2019 Bullet Journal Setup
I had a few ideas for May that I couldn’t decide on, so I took them to a Twitter poll. And the result…floral! May is a great month for a flowery design after all.
Title Page
Being one of the shorter month names, I decided to go for something bold and colourful for the title page. I’ve seen lots of designs creating words out of small pictures, so I thought what better than to use flowers to create the May title! The end result is really effective and you don’t have to be a world-class artist to do it. I also added some handlettering with ‘hello’ as I’ve been practising recently and think it adds a nice welcome to the new month.
Quote
I’ve developed a love for quote pages as they provide a positive start to the month. I originally searched Pinterest for quotes about the month of May, but found this Xan Oku quote. Although not about the month specifically, ‘may’ is still featured and I feel it follows on perfectly from April showers. My mental health has not been 100% recently with all the Crohn’s stuff, so this is a nice positive affirmation to see when I open my journal.
Weekly Spreads
Apologies for the blurriness! 
We’re sticking to the minimal single page weekly spreads for May as they are just places for me to jot down a few notes. I included a small flower design in the corner to create some brightness.
Blog Post Ideas + Notes
The final sections are my notes and blog post ideas. Still incorporating the floral theme, but more minimal so that I have more space to write, but also still at my level of artistic capability!

I love this setup! It’s difficult to know what to do each month, but I love the idea of pictures making up the ward. I may have a go at something similar in the May month of my bullet journal!
