September 2019 Bullet Journal Setup
Hello September! August flew by didn’t it?! It’s time for my September 2019 bullet journal setup.
As this month is the back to school/university time, I decided to do a book and planning inspired theme to help me get motivated for the new academic year.
I still had a few stickers left over from PlannerFest including this pastel folder stack and decided to use the purple as the base for the colours this month.
September 2019 Bullet Journal Setup
Font
While I usually opt for brush lettering in my bullet journal, I tried out a printed serif font style. This reminds me of school and the classic ‘Times New Roman’ font of university assignments.
I’d seen some Harry Potter-inspired designs with similar fonts, so it’s also a nod to one of my favourite book series.
Feel free to pin any of the photos so you can come back to the post later!

Quote
As August didn’t end the way I hoped it would, September really is a fresh start for me. I’m heading into a new chapter, starting my final year at university, know my blog goals and am on new medication which will hopefully keep my Crohn’s under control.
I found this “Every day is a fresh start” quote on Pinterest and thought it fitted perfectly.

Monthly Recurring Pages
After the quotes page, I have my usual monthly spreads for goals, blog post ideas, key dates and notes.

Weekly Spreads
For the weekly spread, I chose these minimal boxes for each day and found this lovely ‘Plan a Happy Life’ sticker to fill in the corner gap.

Next Month Page
I know that I’ll need to be even more organised when it comes to blogging now that I’m going back to uni. I decided to create a look ahead to next month page, so that I can add any events/blog ideas for future reference.

That’s it for the September 2019 bullet journal setup. If you want to have a go and create your own version of my designs, then plan with me and let me know on social media.
What should October’s design be?

Love this. Do you have a routine for making your bullet journal? How do you find time to make it?
I don’t have a routine. I usually try and do in the last few days of the month for the next month. Just when you have time, it could be 10 minutes here and there. X
Great post on Bullet Journaling. I took a class at the library a couple of months ago and it was absolutely amazing. This just gave me a refresher of using bullet journaling.
A bullet journal class sounds fun! Glad you like it x
Oh my gosh #diarygoals, you’re so organised; I’m just a hot mess with things like this!
Aw thank you! Don’t worry we’re all different when it comes to organisation!
