April 2019 Bullet Journal Setup
Theme
This is my first April having a bullet journal and I couldn’t resist going for the April showers theme. I haven’t done blue as a feature colour yet, so rain provided a good opportunity. We’re not letting the April showers get us down though, in fact quite the opposite. I added this wonderful Winnie the Pooh quote, “When life throws you a rainy day, play in the puddles.”
It’s about always being positive, and making the best of any situation. A little mental health boost to kickstart the month. I chose yellow for the umbrella too as it’s such a cheery colour.
What’s more, rain drops are easy to draw no matter your level of artistry and they make an effective design.
Weekly Spreads
As I don’t use my bullet journal that much apart from the odd few notes, I’ve kept the weekly spreads to a single page. I like seeing the whole week altogether and it just feels more organised for me.
At the moment, I seem to have this obsession with adding the day numbers in shapes, so the raindrops worked well. Possibly a Pinterest influence there!
Social Media Tracker
This month I’ve decided to bring back a social media tracker to make sure I stay on top of blog tasks. It serves as a little reminder to get things done, so hopefully all those raindrops will be filled in at the end of the month!

I’m going to try a proper journal-plan using your April showers idea for my inspiration. I might make it through a whole list without losing it or forgetting something!

Your bullet journal setup looks great. I only really do weekly spreads because that’s what works best. I forget to fill in monthly spreads ?
